We do this by investing in secure mortgages in Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley—areas we’re experts in, thanks to our team’s decades of experience in banking, mortgage lending, real estate, and development.


Get started with as little as $10,000 CAD. You can invest using your RRSP, TFSA, RRIF, LRSP, LIRA, LRIF, or non-registered account. Registered accounts are administered by the Olympia Trust Company.

Your investment with Aventus means you receive 100% of the net income, distributed directly to you as a shareholder. You can choose to receive these earnings as cash dividends every quarter, giving your family regular income, or you can reinvest them through our dividend reinvestment (DRIP) program and grow your investment by purchasing additional shares. Please note, there will be different tax implications depending on the account type you use to invest.
While we’re here to help your family grow wealth, we understand that life can be unpredictable. If you need access to your funds, you can redeem your shares with at least six months' notice, starting one year after your first investment (subject to our withdrawal terms and conditions). We process redemptions twice a year—on June 30 and December 31. In special cases, we may be able to accommodate requests in between, depending on the Fund’s position.

A MIC in BC is provincially licensed and regulated by the BC Financial Services Authority (BCFSA). The BCFSA is the province's regulator for mortgage brokers and lenders. We mainly focus on first and second mortgages on properties right here in B.C.’s Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Most of our mortgage investments are in residential properties like single-family homes, duplexes, townhouses, condos, houses under construction, and residential land. We also lend on commercial properties but to a limited extent. These are properties in your community—ones you might even pass by on your daily drive.
We’ve partnered with Aventus Mortgage Group Inc. (“AMG”) to expertly manage the MIC. AMG is responsible for finding and selecting the mortgage investments for the Fund, as well as overseeing and managing the mortgage portfolio with your best interests in mind. We pay a total fee of 2% of the mortgage portfolio, per year, to AMG for these management services.

Yes. Aventus Capital’s exempt market dealer is Drake Financial Ltd. Working with Drake Financial ensures compliance with laws and regulatory requirements and ensures that we stay up-to-date on the latest standards and best practices.
